We asked our customers for their stories about how has Mia Vita intimate skin moisturizer has helped them. Here’s what one of them, a 79-year-old retired librarian with Sjogren’s syndrome, wrote to tell us.

I think the dryness became really noticeable around 15 or so years ago. I had burning, but I was also having what I thought were a bunch of urinary tract infections. It turned out to be interstitial cystitis, which I now have under control. Yours is the first product I have tried for the burning caused by dryness. Because I had deep vein thrombosis and clots in my lungs from taking the birth control pill, I knew I couldn’t use anything with estrogen in it.
I’ve also had Sjogren’s for more than 20 years but was diagnosed only three or four years ago. Sjogren’s is difficult, because you don’t get diagnosed when you should. I’ve gone back and looked at my medical records, and there are things that say I am having dryness problems, but no one connected it to Sjogren’s.
I thought that I was going to have to have an appointment with a gynecologist in order to find something. I was so pleased when I found Mia Vita Gel — without the estrogen and it works!
I saw an ad somewhere for Mia Vita Gel and someone in the Sjogren’s forum mentioned she used it and liked it, so I looked it up and ordered it. It gave me immediate relief from the burning. It’s not messy, and that was important to me. I use it when I need it, and now I know which burning is the cystitis and which is dryness.
Vaginal dryness is not something people my age talk about, and I find it hard to talk to male doctors about many things. I had been looking all over for something to buy over the counter. I thought that I was going to have to have an appointment with a gynecologist in order to find something. I was so pleased when I found Mia Vita Gel — without the estrogen and it works!
