Vaginal Dryness & Menopause
Vaginal dryness is often seen in women going through perimenopause and menopause. Vaginal dryness is the least talked about menopausal symptom, but it is one of the most common. When estrogen levels drop during perimenopause, so do moisture levels in skin. When this happens, the vulva and vagina can become increasingly sensitive.
Vaginal dryness can be uncomfortable and feel like:
- Itching |
- Burning |
- Soreness |
- Tightness |
- Vulvar irritation
- Pain around the entrance to the vagina |
- Pain inside the vagina

Mild vaginal dryness may be only an annoyance, but left untreated, vaginal dryness symptoms can lead to vaginal atrophy, a condition in which the vaginal walls become thin, dry, and inflamed.
Daily use of a personal lubricant and moisturizer and vulvar moisturizer may help to reduce or eliminate symptoms of vaginal and vulvar dryness.

Definitely work but so expensive. Since so many women suffered from vaginal dryness it would be nice if this product was more affordable.
It helped but not totally as yet.
Gel is soothing and comfortable. It does not yet alleviate itching, continuing to use to give it a chance.
I have Sjogrens which adds to my problems with dryness. I loved this product. Unfortunately, it is just too expensive for me to use on a regular basis, which I so desperately need.
